BQ core lifter case is one part of core sample breaking operation. BQ core lifter case is used together with BQ core lifter and BQ stop ring. BQ core lifter case has tapered socket mate to BQ core lifter. When the BQ inner-tube is full of core sample, the drill string if lifted off the bottom of the hole, the core sample will be broken by the BQ core lifter and BQ core lifter case grip function.
Standard BQ core lifter cases are made of high-quality alloy steel and are heat treated to increase strength, toughness and wear life.
