PQ stop ring is also one part of core sample breaking operation. PQ stop ring is used together with PQ core lifter and PQ core lifter case. The main function of PQ stop ring is to stop the PQ core lifter move upwards when the core sample goes into the PQ inner tube.

PQ stop rings are made of high-quality alloy steel and are specially heat treated to increase strength, toughness and wear life.
