HQ3 stop ring is also one part of core sample breaking operation. HQ3 stop ring is used together with HQ3  core lifter and HQ3 core lifter case. The main function of HQ3 stop ring is to stop the HQ3 core lifter move upwards when the core sample goes into the HQ3 inner tube and stop the HQ3 split tube goes into HQ3 core lifter case.

HQ3 stop rings are made of high-quality alloy steel and are specially heat treated to increase strength, toughness and wear life.
