BQ landing ring is a part of BQ outer tube assembly. BQ landing ring sits in the upper-end of the BQ outer tube and is retained by the BQ adapter coupling. When the BQ inner tube assembly puts into the drill rod, the BQ landing shoulder of the BQ head assembly impacts the BQ landing ring setting the BQ inner tube assembly into right position.

BQ landing ring is made of high-quality alloy steel that is specially heat treated for improved impact toughness and durability.
