NQ landing ring is a part of NQ outer tube assembly. NQ landing ring sits in the upper-end of the NQ outer tube and is retained by the NQ adapter coupling. When the NQ inner tube assembly puts into the drill rod, the NQ landing shoulder of the NQ head assembly impacts the NQ landing ring setting the NQ inner tube assembly into right position.
NQ landing ring is made of high-quality alloy steel that is specially heat treated for improved impact toughness and durability.
