NQ core lifter case is one part of core sample breaking operation. NQ core lifter case is used together with NQ core lifter and NQ stop ring. NQ core lifter case has tapered socket mate to NQ core lifter. When the NQ inner-tube is full of core sample, the drill string if lifted off the bottom of the hole, the core sample will be broken by the NQ core lifter and NQ core lifter case grip function.
Standard NQ core lifter cases are made of high-quality alloy steel and are heat treated to increase strength, toughness and wear life.
