PQ3 stop ring is also one part of core sample breaking operation. PQ3 stop ring is used together with PQ3  core lifter and PQ3 core lifter case. The main function of PQ3 stop ring is to stop the PQ3 core lifter move upwards when the core sample goes into the PQ3 inner tube and stop the PQ3 split tube goes into PQ3 core lifter case.

PQ3 stop rings are made of high-quality alloy steel and are specially heat treated to increase strength, toughness and wear life.
